A Place To Bury Strangers - Self Tiltled

I wont lie, i found A Place To Bury Strangers on another blog site. Coming across a band who's "blog buzz" is already fairly big takes away from the excitement of finding new music. In the case of APTBS i was still rather excited, its noise rock/shoegaze at its best. It reminds me of Joy Division with crappy equipment practicing new material in some shitty roach infested loft in the heart of some big city. That being said the band come from scene city central and claim themselves as the loudest band in Brooklyn. I hope so. The record makes me feel dirty, like I've just woken up on the floor of some random apartment where a wild party had been the night before, wondering why the fuck my head is pounding and where are my clothes. If nothing else, A Place To Bury Strangers is too bad ass of a band name to not check out. Who knows are these strangers dead before they are buried? if not... BAD ASS.
